North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Independence drops to South Mecklenburg

In Thursday's league battle, the South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) lacrosse squad routed the host Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC), by a count of 16-3.

Coming up next, the Sabres clash with the Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 8. South Mecklenburg will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record.

The Patriots now own a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Providence for a Southwestern/So Meck battle on Thursday, March 10.
