North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Independence drops to South Mecklenburg

The Independence Patriots lacrosse squad (Charlotte, NC), was overwhelmed 14-6 in Friday's league contest with the host South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC)

Coming up next, the Sabres confront the Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC) in a Southwestern/So Meck contest, on Monday, April 25. South Mecklenburg will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 0-13 record after their 16-1 non-league loss to Mooresville (Mooresville, NC).

The Patriots now sport a 4-11 record. They play next when they travel to Sun Valley for a non-league contest on Monday, April 25. Independence will confront a Spartans squad coming off a 9-8 league loss to Parkwood (Monroe, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 5-9.
