The North Lincoln Knights baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host South Point Red Raiders to 4 in the Knights non-league win on Monday.
The Knights now hold a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Asheville for a non-league test on Thursday, March 6. North Lincoln will play a Cougars team coming off a 12-1 non-league win over West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 1-3.
With the defeat, South Point drops to 1-3 on the year. The Red raiders travel to East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC) to play the Warriors in a non-league test on Thursday, March 6. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 2-2. East Gaston won 8-7 in their recent league test against Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC)
