The South Point Red Raiders baseball team scored 3 runs and held the host North Lincoln Knights to 2 in the Red Raiders non-league win on Friday.
The Red Raiders now hold a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Forestview for a Big South 3A test on Tuesday, March 11. South Point will play a Jaguars team coming off a 16-6 non-league win over Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-1.
With the defeat, North Lincoln drops to 1-5 on the year. The Knights travel to St. Stephens (Hickory, NC) to play the Indians in a Western Foothills 3A test on Tuesday, March 11. The Indians go into the test with a record of 5-0. St. Stephens won 19-2 in their recent league test against Foard (Newton, NC)
