Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Orange Panthers (Hillsborough, NC) and the host Durham School of the Arts Bulldogs (Durham, NC), saw Orange's soccer squad triumph over Durham School of the Arts by a score of 9-3.
The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC). The Eagles enter the Central 3A battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Eastern Alamance tipped Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 4-2, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves (Hillsborough, NC) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, March 5. Durham School of the Arts will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Fighting Red Wolves enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 9-6 non-league win over Northwood (Pittsboro, NC).
