The Alexandria Trojans softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Pineville Rebels to 3 in the Trojans league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Alexandria moves its record to 14-5 on the year. The Trojans travel to West Monroe (West Monroe, LA) to play the Rebels in a 5A District 2 game on Tuesday, April 4. The Rebels come into the game with a record of 20-8. West Monroe won 7-1 in their recent league game against Ouachita Parish (Monroe, LA)

In their next game, the Rebels play the Ouachita Christian Eagles (Monroe, LA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 1. Pineville will attempt to move on its 14-6 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 16-11 record after their 9-3 non-league loss to Calvary Baptist Academy (Shreveport, LA).
