The Monticello Sages (Monticello, IL) soccer bounced the host Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts (Chillicothe, IL), 9-0 in Saturday's league bout.
With the win, Monticello moves its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Sages host Unity Christian/Argenta Oreana/Decatur Christian (Forsyth, IL) to battle the Lions in a non-league bout on Thursday, April 4. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 5-4.
