New Washington Mustangs (New Washington, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host South Central Rebels (Elizabeth, IN), 11-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Central for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 30. New Washington will face a Rebels squad coming off a 11-10 non-league win over Bullitt Central (Shepherdsville, KY). The Rebels record now stands at 2-1.
