Madison County Tigers (Gurley, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Grissom Tigers (Huntsville, AL), 11-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 11-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Madison Academy for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 4. Madison County will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Westminster Christian (Huntsville, AL). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-1.

With the loss, Grissom falls to 5-10 on the campaign. The Tigers host Scottsboro (Scottsboro, AL) to face the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 4. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 7-3. Scottsboro lost 6-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Fairhope (Fairhope, AL)
