The Lakin Broncs (Lakin, KS) softball routed the visiting Stanton County Trojans (Johnson, KS), 15-5 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Broncs (2-3) will now prepare for their bout against Ulysses (Ulysses, KS). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 0-4 record. In their last bout, Ulysses was routed by Scott (Scott City, KS), 23-0, in a league bout.
The Trojans now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Cimarron for a non-league bout on Monday, April 4. Stanton County will confront a Bluejays squad coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Southwestern Heights (Kismet, KS). The Bluejays record now stands at 2-0.
