North Carolina High School Baseball - Gray's Creek nudged by Purnell Swett

The Gray's Creek Bears baseball team (Hope Mills, NC), was tipped 5-4 in Friday's league outing with the visiting Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC)

The Rams now hold a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cape Fear for a United Eight 3A/4A outing on Tuesday, April 4. Purnell Swett will confront a Colts team coming off a 14-4 league loss to Lumberton (Lumberton, NC). The Colts record now stands at 7-6.

Next, the Bears confront the Douglas Byrd Eagles (Fayetteville, NC) in a United Eight 3A/4A outing, on Monday, April 3. Gray's Creek will attempt to advance on its 6-6 season record. The Eagles go into the outing with a 2-11 record after their 14-2 league loss to Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC).
