The Gainesville Hurricanes lacrosse squad scored 10 points and limited the host Fleming Island Golden Eagles to 9 in the Hurricanes non-league triumph on Monday.

The Hurricanes now own a 13-3 record. They take the field next when they host Matanzas for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 1. Gainesville will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 19-8 non-league win over St. Joseph Academy (St. Augustine, FL). The Pirates record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Fleming Island falls to 5-6 on the year. The Golden eagles travel to Creekside (St. Johns, FL) to clash with the Knights in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 1. The Knights go into the challenge with a record of 4-9. Creekside lost 15-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Pensacola Catholic (Pensacola, FL)
