South Carolina High School Softball - Dutch Fork edges Irmo

March 31, 2026: Irmo, SC 29063

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Dutch Fork Silver Foxes (Irmo, SC) and the visiting Irmo Yellow Jackets (Columbia, SC), observed Dutch Fork's softball team get by Irmo by a tally of 7-5.

The Silver Foxes (1-9) will now prepare for their bout against Chapin (Chapin, SC). The Eagles go into the AAAAA Region 4 bout with a 6-9 record. In their last bout, Chapin by Northwestern (Rock Hill, SC), 9-6, in a non-league contest.

The Yellow Jackets now hold a 0-13 record. They play next when they host Lexington for a AAAAA Region 4 contest on Thursday, April 2. Irmo will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 15-2 league win over River Bluff (Lexington, SC). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-3.
