Salesian College Preparatory Pride (Richmond, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Piedmont Highlanders (Piedmont, CA), 48-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Salesian College Preparatory upgrades its record to 27-4 on the campaign. The Pride travel to Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA) to play the Monarchs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 7. The Monarchs come into the bout with a record of 27-2. Archbishop Mitty won 63-43 in their recent non-league bout against Clovis West (Fresno, CA)
