The Washburn Rural Blues (Topeka, KS) basketball felled the visiting Topeka Trojans (Topeka, KS), 45-29 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Blues (17-4) will now prepare for their test against Lawrence (Lawrence, KS). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 18-4 record. In their last test, Lawrence thwarted South (Wichita, KS), 76-53, in a non-league test.
The Trojans now own a 16-6 record.
