In Monday's non-league outing, the host Anson Bearcats softball team scored a nice 18-6 win over the Central Eagles.

Coming up next, the Bearcats encounter the Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC) in a Rocky River 2A/3A outing, on Tuesday, March 5. Anson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Panthers enter the outing with a 1-0 record after their 17-1 non-league win over Sun Valley (Monroe, NC).

The Eagles (0-4) will now prepare for their outing against Lamar (Lamar, SC). The Silver Foxes enter the non-league outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Lamar was routed by Hartsville (Hartsville, SC), 12-2, in a non-league outing.
