Texas High School Softball - Richland sneaks past Argyle

In Tuesday's league match, the host Richland Royals softball team scored a tight 2-1 win over the Argyle Eagles.
The Royals (9-3) will now prepare for their match against Denton (Denton, TX). The Broncos come into the 5A Region I District 7 match with a 6-8 record. In their last match, Denton was nipped by Birdville (North Richland Hills, TX), 15-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Eagles confront the Grapevine Mustangs (Grapevine, TX) in a 5A Region I District 7 match, on Friday, March 7. Argyle will attempt to better on its 9-8 season record. The Mustangs come into the match with a 7-7 record after their 17-8 league win over Colleyville Heritage (Colleyville, TX).
