The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX) and the host Pieper Warriors (San Antonio, TX), observed Smithson Valley's softball team notch a victory over Pieper by a tally of 23-3.

The Rangers (6-1) will now prepare for their bout against New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX). The Unicorns go into the 5A Region IV District 26 bout with a 12-3 record. In their last bout, New Braunfels gained a win over Veterans Memorial (San Antonio, TX), 11-7, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Boerne-Champion Chargers (Boerne, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 26 bout, on Friday, March 7. Pieper will attempt to advance on its 4-6 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 9-5 league loss to Boerne (Boerne, TX).
