The Sequoyah Chiefs crushed the host Johns Creek Gladiators baseball team by a count of 12-6 in Friday's league bout.

The Chiefs now possess a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they host Cambridge for a AAAAAA Region 7 bout on Monday, March 8. Sequoyah will face a Bears team coming off a 11-7 league win over Riverwood (Atlanta, GA). The Bears record now stands at 9-1.

Next, the Gladiators face the Chattahoochee Cougars (Alpharetta, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 7 bout, on Monday, March 8. Johns Creek will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Cougars enter the bout with a 4-7 record after their 4-2 league win over Centennial (Roswell, GA).
