Aztec Tigers (Aztec, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Kirtland Central Broncos (Kirtland, NM), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bloomfield for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 22.
With the loss, Kirtland Central falls to 4-1 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Farmington (Farmington, NM) to battle the Scorpions in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 8. The Scorpions enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
