Maryland High School Basketball - Whitman edges Bethesda-Chevy Chase

The Whitman Vikings (Bethesda, MD) basketball nipped the visiting Bethesda-Chevy Chase Barons (Bethesda, MD), 59-54 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Vikings (19-5) will now prepare for their test against Laurel (Laurel, MD). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 12-10 record. In their last test, Laurel got by Northwood (Silver Spring, MD), 69-62, in a non-league test.

The Barons now own a 17-5 record.
