The South Grand Prairie Warriors softball team scored 4 runs and limited the visiting Martin Warriors to 1 in the Warriors league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, South Grand Prairie moves its record to 6-9 on the year. The Warriors travel to Sam Houston (Arlington, TX) to clash with the Texans in a 6A Region I District 8 game on Friday, March 8. The Texans come into the game with a record of 1-9. Sam Houston lost 16-0 in their recent non-league game against West Mesquite (Mesquite, TX)

In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Haltom Buffalos (Haltom City, TX) in a 6A Region I District 4 game, on Monday, March 11. Martin will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Buffalos come into the game with a 3-14 record after their 10-0 league win over Lamar (Arlington, TX).
