South Grand Prairie Warriors (Grand Prairie, TX) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Martin Warriors (Arlington, TX), 7-6 in a league game.

With the triumph, South Grand Prairie upgrades its record to 19-12 on the year. The Warriors host Pearce (Richardson, TX) to play the Mustangs in a non-league game on Friday, April 26. The Mustangs enter the game with a record of 7-14. Pearce won 11-0 in their recent league game against MacArthur (Irving, TX)

The Warriors now own a 20-6 record.
