The Boyd Yellowjackets routed the host Ponder Lions softball squad by a final score of 16-0 in Monday's league battle.

The Yellowjackets (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Whitesboro (Whitesboro, TX). The Bearcats go into the 3A Region II District 10 battle with a 14-4 record.

The Lions now possess a 2-12 record. They play next when they travel to Whitesboro for a 3A Region II District 10 battle on Friday, March 10. Ponder will meet a Bearcats squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Callisburg (Gainesville, TX). The Bearcats record now stands at 14-4.
