Texas High School Softball - Boyd bounces Ponder

The Boyd Yellowjackets routed the visiting Ponder Lions softball squad by a count of 17-7 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Yellowjackets (8-9) will now prepare for their battle against Callisburg (Gainesville, TX). The Wildcats go into the 3A Region II District 10 battle with a 6-13 record. In their last battle, Callisburg was routed by Whitesboro (Whitesboro, TX), 15-0, in a league battle.

The Lions now sport a 4-18 record. They play next when they host Whitesboro for a 3A Region II District 10 battle on Friday, April 7. Ponder will meet a Bearcats squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Callisburg (Gainesville, TX). The Bearcats record now stands at 22-4.
