North Carolina High School Softball - Freedom loses to Draughn

The Draughn Wildcats softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Freedom Patriots to 0 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Draughn moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Thomas Jefferson (Mooresboro, NC) to clash with the Gryphons in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 8. The Gryphons come into the game with a record of 0-1. Thomas Jefferson lost 15-0 in their recent league game against Burns (Lawndale, NC)
In their next game, the Patriots clash with the St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 7. Freedom will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Indians come into the game with a 0-1 record after their 14-4 non-league loss to Maiden (Maiden, NC).
