In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Freedom Patriots softball team scored a close 5-4 win over the Draughn Wildcats.

Coming up next, the Patriots battle the East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, April 15. Freedom will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Cavaliers enter the outing with a 6-7 record after their 12-0 league win over Newton-Conover (Newton, NC).
