In Thursday's non-league test, the South Lamar Stallions (Millport, AL) softball squad overwhelmed the host Lamar County Bulldogs (Vernon, AL), by a tally of 10-2.

Next, the Stallions clash with the Fayette County Tigers (Fayette, AL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, March 8. South Lamar will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 3-4 record after their 11-3 non-league win over Marion County (Guin, AL).

The Bulldogs (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Oakman (Oakman, AL). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Oakman was routed by Gordo (Gordo, AL), 11-1, in a league test.
