North Carolina High School Softball - Patton bounces Hickory

The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC) and the host Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC), saw Patton's softball squad nip Hickory by a count of 11-4.

The Panthers now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host West Caldwell for a non-league match on Thursday, March 10.

With the loss, Hickory falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Red tornadoes travel to Hibriten (Lenoir, NC) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 8. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 0-1. Hibriten lost 5-2 in their recent non-league match against Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC)
