California High School Softball - Mount Miguel bounces Liberty Charter

March 7, 2022: Lemon Grove, CA 91945

Mount Miguel Matadors (Spring Valley, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Liberty Charter Lions (Lemon Grove, CA), 23-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Matadors now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Kearny for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 15.

With the loss, Liberty Charter falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Ocean View Christian (San Diego, CA) to face the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 9. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Ocean View Christian lost 18-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Victory Christian Academy (Chula Vista, CA)
