The Lincoln Prep Lightning crushed the visiting Fort Thomas Apaches baseball team by a count of 18-0 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Lightning now possess a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gilbert Classical Academy for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 9. Lincoln Prep will face a Spartans team coming off a 32-0 non-league win over Sequoia Pathway Academy (Maricopa, AZ). The Spartans record now stands at 5-1.
Next, the Apaches face the Mogollon Mustangs (Heber, AZ) in a 1A East bout, on Thursday, March 9. Fort Thomas will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Mustangs enter the bout with a 1-3 record after their 11-4 non-league loss to Coolidge (Coolidge, AZ).
