In Tuesday's league battle, the host Hanks Knights soccer squad scored a close 3-0 triumph over the Parkland Matadors.

The Knights (9-12) will now prepare for their test against Ysleta (El Paso, TX). The Indians come into the 5A Region 1 District 2 test with a 9-13 record. In their last test, Ysleta by Del Valle (El Paso, TX), 14-0, in a league test.

With the loss, Parkland drops to 5-15 on the season. The Matadors host Horizon (El Paso, TX) to encounter the Scorpions in a 5A Region 1 District 2 test on Friday, March 10. The Scorpions come into the test with a record of 4-19. Horizon lost 7-1 in their recent league test against Bel Air (El Paso, TX)
