The Pace Vikings held off the host Weslaco East Wildcats soccer squad by a margin of 3-2 in Tuesday's league match.
The Vikings now sport a 8-12 record. They play next when they host Veterans Memorial for a 5A Region 4 District 32 match on Friday, March 10. Pace will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Mercedes (Mercedes, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 13-10.
With the loss, Weslaco East drops to 5-6 on the season.
