Queen City Bulldogs (Queen City, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Atlanta Rabbits (Atlanta, TX), 8-0 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 12-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hughes Springs for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 10. Queen City will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 18-3 non-league win over Lindale (Lindale, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-6.

With the loss, Atlanta falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Rabbits travel to Hooks (Hooks, TX) to battle the Hornets in a 3A Region II District 14 challenge on Friday, March 10. The Hornets enter the challenge with a record of 12-4. Hooks won 20-5 in their recent league challenge against Pewitt (Omaha, TX)
