North Carolina High School Softball - Gray's Creek bounces Purnell Swett

March 7, 2023: Pembroke, NC 28372

The Gray's Creek Bears routed the host Purnell Swett Rams softball squad by a count of 10-0 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Bears (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC). The Bulldogs go into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Terry Sanford was routed by E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC), 21-0, in a league battle.

The Rams now sport a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Cape Fear for a United Eight 3A/4A battle on Thursday, March 9. Purnell Swett will meet a Colts squad coming off a 6-2 league win over Lumberton (Lumberton, NC). The Colts record now stands at 3-0.
