In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Western Harnett Eagles baseball team scored a tight 4-2 victory over the Scotland Fighting Scots.
The Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Harnett Central (Angier, NC). The Trojans go into the All American 3A/4A game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Harnett Central tipped Western Harnett (Lillington, NC), 2-0, in a league game.
