The Bogalusa Lumberjacks softball team (Bogalusa, LA), was routed 34-30 in Thursday's non-league test with the visiting Independence Tigers (Independence, LA)

Coming up next, the Tigers clash with the Maurepas Wolves (Maurepas, LA) in a non-league test, on Friday, March 8. Independence will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Wolves come into the test with a 2-5 record after their 21-6 non-league win over Family Christian (Baton Rouge, LA).

The Lumberjacks (0-4) will now prepare for their test against Sumner (Kentwood, LA). The Cowboys come into the 3A District 7 test with a 8-4 record. In their last test, Sumner edged Vidalia (Vidalia, LA), 15-4, in a non-league test.
