With the triumph, Ashe County advances its record to 2-2 on the season. The Huskies host Draughn (Valdese, NC) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league match on Monday, March 10. The Wildcats come into the match with a record of 1-4. Draughn won 8-6 in their recent non-league match against Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC)

The Blackhawks now have a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Forbush for a Foothills 2A match on Tuesday, March 11. West Wilkes will battle a Falcons squad coming off a 15-4 non-league win over Starmount (Boonville, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 5-1.
