The Banks County Leopards (Homer, GA) baseball trounced the host Commerce Tigers (Commerce, GA), 17-1 in Friday's league challenge.

The Leopards now own a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rabun County for a A D1 Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, March 11. Banks County will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 11-3 league loss to Providence Christian Academy (Lilburn, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-4.

With the defeat, Commerce drops to 1-9 on the year. The Tigers travel to Social Circle (Social Circle, GA) to clash with the Redskins in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 8. The Redskins go into the challenge with a record of 11-1. Social Circle lost 8-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Monroe Area (Monroe, GA)
