The Grimsley Whirlies (Greensboro, NC) baseball the visiting Southeast Guilford Falcons (Greensboro, NC), 6-2 in Friday's league challenge.
The Whirlies now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Northwest Guilford for a Metro 4A challenge on Tuesday, March 11. Grimsley will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 11-0 non-league loss to West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 2-3.
With the defeat, Southeast Guilford drops to 0-3 on the year. The Falcons host Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC) to clash with the Nighthawks in a Metro 4A challenge on Tuesday, March 11. The Nighthawks go into the challenge with a record of 6-0. Northern Guilford won 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Morehead (Eden, NC)
