St. Vincent de Paul Mustangs (Petaluma, CA) backers exited the stadium satisfied Friday as they saw their lacrosse team overcome the host Sonoma Valley Dragons (Sonoma, CA), 11-3 in a league game.

With the victory, St. Vincent de Paul improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Vintage (Napa, CA) to play the Crushers in a Vine Valley game on Monday, March 10. The Crushers come into the game with a record of 0-0.

The Dragons now have a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Petaluma for a Vine Valley game on Thursday, March 13. Sonoma Valley will play a Trojans team coming off a 20-12 league loss to Casa Grande (Petaluma, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 1-3.
