The Eagles (6-8) will now prepare for their bout against Sam Rayburn (Pasadena, TX). The Texans go into the 6A Region III District 22 bout with a 3-9 record. In their last bout, Sam Rayburn was routed by Alvin (Alvin, TX), 15-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Dobie Longhorns (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region III District 22 bout, on Saturday, March 8. South Houston will attempt to advance on its 0-10 season record. The Longhorns go into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 11-7 league win over Shadow Creek (Pearland, TX).
