North Carolina High School Softball - E.E. Smith falls to Hillside

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Hillside Hornets (Durham, NC) and the visiting E.E. Smith Golden Bulls (Fayetteville, NC), observed Hillside's softball team notch a victory over E.E. Smith by a tally of 21-5.
The Hornets (4-0) will now prepare for their bout against Southeast Raleigh (Raleigh, NC). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Southeast Raleigh gained a win over Southern School of Energy and Sustainability (Durham, NC), 31-5, in a non-league bout.
Next up, the Golden Bulls face the Lakewood Leopards (Roseboro, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, March 10. E.E. Smith will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Leopards enter the contest with a 0-4 record after their 6-3 non-league loss to Lejeune (Camp Lejeune, NC).
