The Southside Southerners softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Trumann Wildcats to 1 in the Southerners league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Southside improves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Southerners travel to Alma (Alma, AR) to clash with the Airedales in a non-league game on Thursday, March 10. The Airedales come into the game with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the East Poinsett County Warriors (Lepanto, AR) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 10. Trumann will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Warriors come into the game with a 3-0 record after their 12-0 league win over Bay (Bay, AR).
