Spectators at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Santa Fe Demons (Santa Fe, NM) and the host Grants Pirates (Grants, NM), saw Santa Fe's baseball squad knock off Grants by a count of 2-0.

Coming up next, the Demons play the Belen Eagles (Belen, NM) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 14. Santa Fe will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 8-1 record after their 8-2 non-league win over Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM).

The Pirates now possess a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Del Norte for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 9. Grants will play a Knights squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Sandia Prep (Albuquerque, NM). The Knights record now stands at 0-6.
