In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Kingsford Flivvers basketball team scored a good 55-45 triumph over the Negaunee Miners.
In their next game, the Flivvers meet the Escanaba Eskymos (Escanaba, MI) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 10. Kingsford will attempt to move on its 18-3 season record. The Eskymos enter the match with a 15-6 record after their 45-35 non-league win over Gladstone (Gladstone, MI).
With the defeat, Negaunee moves to 16-8 on the year.
