North Carolina High School Soccer - East Henderson overwhelmed by Polk County

The Polk County Wolverines smashed the visiting East Henderson Eagles soccer squad by a margin of 8-1 in Wednesday's non-league match.

The Wolverines now sport a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Patton for a Mountain Foothills Seven 2A match on Tuesday, March 14. Polk County will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Freedom (Morganton, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, East Henderson drops to 1-2 on the season. The Eagles host Franklin (Franklin, NC) to encounter the Panthers in a Mountain Seven 3A match on Monday, March 13. The Panthers come into the match with a record of 1-1. Franklin lost 6-0 in their recent non-league match against Brevard (Brevard, NC)
