North Carolina High School Soccer - Polk County knocks off East Henderson

The East Henderson Eagles soccer team (East Flat Rock, NC), 4-1 in Monday's non-league outing with the visiting Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC)

With the win, Polk County advances its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Chase (Forest City, NC) to battle the Trojans in a Mountain Foothills Seven 2A outing on Thursday, April 27. The Trojans go into the outing with a record of 3-10. Chase lost 7-1 in their recent league outing against Brevard (Brevard, NC)

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Tuscola Mountaineers (Waynesville, NC) in a Mountain Seven 3A outing, on Wednesday, April 26. East Henderson will attempt to advance on its 1-13 season record. The Mountaineers go into the outing with a 6-5 record after their 2-1 league loss to North Henderson (Hendersonville, NC).
