The Wheatmore Warriors the host Trinity Bulldogs baseball team by a tally of 9-7 in Friday's league bout.
The Warriors now hold a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Randleman for a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A bout on Tuesday, March 12. Wheatmore will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 league win over Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 3-1.
The Bulldogs (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC). The Cougars go into the Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Southwestern Randolph tipped Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC), 7-6, in a league game.
