In their next game, the Townies meet the Classical Purple (Providence, RI) in a non-league match, on Monday, March 11. East Providence will attempt to better on its 16-9 season record. The Purple enter the match with a 24-1 record after their 60-57 non-league win over La Salle Academy (Providence, RI).

With the defeat, Johnston moves to 18-8 on the year.
